Master locks

This 4 pack of small inexpensive Master padlocks is a great value. They wouldn't stop a determined thief for more than a few seconds--but larger locks wouldn't stop them either. The sheds I use them on have external hinges that can easily be unscrewed.

They work well enough and provide basic deterrence against casual theft, which is all I need. If you live in the city where theft is more common, you'll probably want a heavier duty lock.

Keyed alike and comes with 4 keys.

Master locks for this 68-year old have been the standard since my first long-shackle grade-school bike lock - but - why, oh why, can I buy a single Master padlock from Amazon last week and get four keys (which I did recently) yet buy four locks and get only two (total) keys?????

These locks are great and of great value. they turn smoothly and do the job they were intended to do: locker drawers at school. What more can I ask for?

It's a padlock with a key. Not much to say. Amazon shipped it fast, works like you would expect.

I purchased these for work to use on a crate we were shipping to a trade show. Four locks keyed the same was exactly what I needed, so this was perfect, but I was really hoping for 4 keys. (One reviewer said it came with 4 and another said it came with 2.) I figured I would take a chance and see for myself, and if it did only come with 2, I could just go and make some copies.

Mine came with 2 keys. I went to get a couple copies made and was told they couldn't do it because they didn't carry this particular blank. I called Master Lock and was told they could sell me a box of 50 blanks for $11 (plus $10 S&H), but I would have to get a locksmith to make the keys, because ACE/Lowes/Home Depot doesn't have the proper equipment to make warded keys. Master Lock even told me to get better locks next time because these are cheap and easy to pick!?!?

Overall, the locks did what they were supposed to do...keep honest people out...and it was a good price for 4 locks. The reason I am giving it only 3 stars is because it doesn't come with 4 keys, and there is a higher than normal cost associated with making copies. I'm somewhat disappointed, but it's fine for what I needed to do. I just hope my coworkers don't lose the keys before we get the crate back...

It only come with 2 keys, which isn't enough for 4 locks.
